Admissions

Pre-School

Children are accepted into Pre-School in the term after their 3rd birthday. The Pre-School is open to any child in Spalding and District.

The Pre-School can hold up to twenty nine 3 or 4 year olds both in the morning and afternoon. We offer 15 hours free provision a week for 3 & 4 year olds or 30 hours for those working parents who are eligible. This can be taken in 3 hour daily sessions, morning or afternoon, or more flexibly, in blocks of 6 hours. There is also the facility to pay for additional hours, spaces permitting. A school meal can also be provided for an additional charge.

Children in Pre-School regularly join in main school activities and assemblies and have the opportunity to use our extensive playground and outdoor areas. The Pre-School and Reception Class teachers plan and work together very closely so that children transfer to our main school experience as smooth a transition as possible.

Application forms for a Pre-School place are available to download from the Parent Zone or to collect from the main school office.

Main School

Children start Primary School in the September after their 4th birthday. Parents must complete a preference form and return it to LA County Offices by the specified date. Children transferring from other primary schools may be admitted at any time during the school year providing there is a place for them.

The Primary School has 210 places. There are seven single age classes with a limit of 30 children per class in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Before your child starts at St Paul’s in September, you will be contacted by our Reception staff.

All admissions to school from the age of 4 are handled by Lincolnshire County Council. Please contact 01522 782030 or click the button below for more information.
