Safeguarding

The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) has overall responsibility for safeguarding and child protection at our school. Working closely with the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSLs), the DSL ensures that safeguarding is embedded throughout school life and that the welfare and safety of every child remains a priority.

At Spalding St Paul’s Primary School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, caring and supportive environment where every child and young person feels valued, respected and able to learn and thrive.

We take our responsibility to safeguard children extremely seriously. All members of our school community have a role to play in keeping children safe, and safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. This includes staff, governors, volunteers, parents and carers, and our pupils themselves.

We maintain robust safeguarding procedures and ensure that all staff receive appropriate training and understand their responsibilities. We work closely with families and relevant external agencies to identify and respond to concerns promptly, always putting the welfare and best interests of children first.
