French
Pupils learn French in Key Stage 2. This is a Modern Foreign Language and enables our pupils to develop communication and literacy skills that lay the foundation for future language learning. As well as developing their linguistic competence, learning another language raises awareness of the multilingual and multicultural world we live in, and encourages tolerance and understanding of others.

All KS2 children are also provided with supervised swimming lessons at Billie Fins Swimming Pool.
Music
Musical performance is an important part of a child’s musical education and to this end we ensure that all children have the opportunity to perform regularly, through production and assemblies, music concert, various competitions, festivals, links with other schools and the wider community.
RE
At school we promote respect and tolerance. Children are introduced to six religious traditions (Christianity, Hinduism, Buddihsm, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism) in the course of their time at the school, and great care is taken to ensure that all beliefs are valued.
