Beech Class ( Year 3) enjoyed a trip to Flag Fen archaeology park in Peterborough on 27th November to reinforce our learning and understanding of life in prehistoric Britain.
Our pupils took part in a dig to find some replica artefacts then learnt about their uses, saw how some prehistoric boats are undergoing preservation processes, listened to a story in a replica roundhouse with a fire to help us keep warm and made some clay pots - decorating them by pushing pine cones and other natural objects into them. Our guide for the day commented on how well our pupils had been able to answer her questions and how well-behaved they were. Well done Year 3s.
